CMSA Women's Division Dodgeball

The 2023 Women's Division Dodgeball Season will open Friday, January 6.

DETAILS

- This league is not limited to those who identify as women. Women's dodgeball welcomes women, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and transgender people. If you identify as a cisgender man, please register for Open Dodgeball instead.

- Friday Nights- 1/6/23 to 3/31/23

- Pottawatomie Park, 7340 N Rogers Avenue

- Games will between 7:00 and 9pm (each team plays two 15-minute matches)

ALL PLAYERS MUST BE VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19 IN ORDER TO PLAY.

Players are strongly encouraged but are not currently required. HOWEVER, if COVID-19 rates increase, we will revisit this and will make masks mandatory to keep everyone safer.

COSTS

CMSA Membership Fee: $26.25

Player Fee: $52.50

There will be NO team fees this year. Team fees will be covered by multiple sponsor bars and businesses. We hope this will help keep costs down for all players. We will have league nights at specific restaurants and bars every Friday night after dodgeball, but we encourage all players to continue to patron these establishments as much as possible during the season to thank them for their support of the league.

OPEN GYM NIGHT

Open Gym will occur on January 6th. Come brush the dust off from last season, get a feel for the balls, and enjoy playing with people who will be your future competition! Regular season play will begin on 1/13/2023.

CAPTAIN'S MEETING

Captains Meeting will be the first week of January, based on Captain's availability virtually. We will let captains know at least a week in advance. A representative from each team MUST attend.

REGISTRATION

CAPTAINS AND PLAYERS, please follow the registration process listed below.

1) EVERYONE must have a profile in league apps. Please set up a new one if you are a new player or haven't played in several years.

2) The team captain MUST first register their team by paying their individual player fee. (Please remember to pay your INDIVIDUAL Player fee first.) If a team is not registered a player can register as a Free Agent and be added to the team once it is established.

3) As the Captain DO NOT uncheck the preselected box under Registration Terms (Unchecking this box will require the Team Captain to pay ALL fees for ALL players).

4) Once the team captain individual player fee has been paid, you are able to pay your team fee online.

5) Once the team is set up and the primary captain's player fee is paid, players can register either by selecting "team player" or by the captain inviting his/her players via email

6) Captains can check their own registrations by opening their team page roster.

7) Players are required to pay the CMSA membership of $26 for the 2021-2022 season if they have not done so already.

TEAM FEES

Co-Commissioners have found sponsors to support the league as a whole. Team fees are not necessary this season.

CMSA MEMBERSHIP

Please remember that all players MUST be current CMSA members. The fee to become a CMSA member is $26.00, which is in addition to the Dodgeball player fee. Your CMSA Membership is valid each year from 9/1-8/31.

*Please remember that the team fee is separate from your individual player fee, you do not have the option to choose one or the other. The team fee is covered by the sponsors.
