How to Register

REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR ALL CMSA SPORTS

CAPTAINS:

Registration is a TWO step process.

STEP 1 - First you need to register your team by paying your INDIVIDUAL player fee by following the process below:

* You start the process by loading your team in the new CMSA league website at http://www.chicagomsa.org/
* If you have not already done so, you need to set up a profile in league apps including a new user ID and password. Old CMSA profiles will not transfer.
* Under the LEAGUES menu, choose your sport
* Register as a Captain and follow the prompts to register and pay your individual fees, then you can add/invite your players to your team.
* Under “team player” - there is a box labeled “divide team player fee among players?” – you want to leave this checked, otherwise the captain is agreeing to pay his/her entire team’s player fees.
* You will need your players’ names and email addresses.

STEP 2 – Pay your team fee (or have your sponsor pay it) under the team fee tab.  If you invite your players to register under the team fee section and not the player fee section in step 1, they will NOT be able to register.

PLAYERS

* When captains add you to their team, you will be sent an email invitation to join that team.   You may also go to the league page, click register and select “team player” and select your team.  If your team is not listed there, you should encourage your captain to complete step 1 above.
* Follow the link and instructions to complete your registration.
* If you have not already done so, you need to set up a profile in league apps including a new user ID and password. Old CMSA profiles will not transfer.

FREE AGENTS

If you do not have a team, go to http://www.chicagomsa.org/ and register as a free agent (Leagues menu > PICK SPORT). The league will follow up with you directly to help you find a team.

GENDER IDENTITY/EXPRESSION

*Please note that the software we use for registration requires identity of gender, and unfortunately we are unable to change this.  CMSA welcomes and encourages people of all genders to participate in its sports programs, and we allow people to self-identity which league they feel fits them best.  Please seeCMSA FAQ page for more information.
